new diy and new fabric to play with...

wow, it's been a long time, since i've made a vid! ^^ or at least it seems like that to me... and surprisingly i made a nice vest out of a scarf again... check out my channel for the video! ^^ i didn't know how the vest would look like in the beginning, but it turned out great... and i am soooooo loving the result!

other than that, we got new curtains :) so pretty! and we also got the leftovers from the curtains ^^ and i'm planning to make something out of it... i'm just not sure yet what... or how... the fabric is quite thick, heavy and a tiny bit stiff... i have to think about it first... but i would like to share how the fabrics looks like...

my own yesstyle order... this order, i placed with my brother's gf with our own money :) and we received it a few days ago...

this is her order... i couldn't make better pictures of her clothing, cause i didn't want to put the clothing on... i just made the pictures on the hanger... (usually) clothing looks much better on than on a hanger ^^



and these are my pieces ^^

this was the one i wanted, that's why i decided to share an order with my brother's gf...



it's a really cute vest ^^ i'm so into big sleeves and loose tops at the moment... i didn't like these a few years ago, since i felt big in loose tops... but i don't feel the same anymore! i didn't expect it to be some kind of knit, but i like it... i'm a knit lover ^^ and i love the fact that i can wear it off the shoulder :p



then i thought this would be cute to order too... when i unpacked it, i didn't like it that much... it came with a brooch, and one gem was loose... the funny thing was... i brought my super glue with me! (to repair my torn nail lol) :P so i could glue the gem back ^^ but yea, i didn't like how it looked... until i tried it on ^^ oh and ofcourse it didn't came with the belt... i like it after all haha...



and the last one, this i actually ordered because we wanted to place an order over the 150usd for free shipping :p it's a cute sweater with quilted pattern! and with the emblem, it looks very school girl like... i'm in love with clothing that resemble schoolgirl outfits :p

that's it for now :p i probably won't order clothing anytime soon :x

received yesstyle order (2a) & random

ugh... i'm getting tired of the weather here... :x there was still snow 2 weeks ago... and short after, it rained.. that made the snow melt... i dislike winter rains but i was happy it melted away the snow... so i could finally wear the boots i got in december :p but then... the snow showed up again :x and i went shopping with a friend... that is probably how i catched a cold... i think?! (lucky i'm feeling all better now ^^) then it rained again, snowed again and rained again :x it's crazy... can't wait till it's spring...

but anyways... i got my yesstyle order today! yeay... it's the sponsored one i ordered at januari 9th... and my friend jimmy suggested to make some pictures, cause he wanted to see... so i decided to do so ^^

this is the off the shoulder sweater that inspired me for the yesstyle sponsored video i made a week ago...



i like how it looks in real... the fabric is more thick than i had in my mind, but i like it... hope it will keep me warm till spring arrives ^^

and i tried to wear it upside down :) used a ribbon to tie up that neckpart... turned out really nice too ^^



then i have the shirtdress ^^ i ordered it because i really like the bottom layered part, the check pattern and the white fleece trim which gives it a wintery feel :) it's nice in real, i'm glad i ordered this dress in m, i think i wouldn't be able to button up the shirt if i ordered a size s... :p (and it didn't came with a belt...)

and the last piece of clothing...



the zip jacket... again... the fabric is more thick than i had in mind, but it's great... this jacket really reminds me of the striped black and white bow dress (from my hk haul vid)... i love the sleeves! and the little bows on the zippers ^^

and then the shoes... :p but i won't talk about these yet, because i want to do a video review about these, hope to do it tomorrow... otherwise i'll probably do it within this week ^^



oh, and i also got some freebies, hihi... the yesstyle free surprise gift is a measure-lint-roll-thing-keychain, lol i have no idea how to call it :p guess i can use that for my diy's :) and also some free eyeshadow, which came with one of the clothing... don't know which one...

canceled :(

urg... i catched a cold, and still am not feeling that great :X i woke up after a weird dream and with a headache... i went to the livingroom, sat on the couch with a nice blanket and turned on my laptop... the first thing i always do, when i turn on my laptop, is... check my mails... so i won't miss out any important information...

after reading the more important mails, i stumbled on a yesstyle autoreply mail :o i somehow expected it... but... an item got canceled! :x it's the first time something got canceled in my order... i've already heard this could happen from other people...



awww... i like those heels (guess i'm not the only one, haha) :( and i wanted to compare the normal priced one with the cheaper one (which got canceled) :x



now i kinda have that "not satisfied" feeling... so i probably gonna order some shoes again next time :x haha...

ah well... that means that my order will be shipped soon, since that was the only item that was not "ready in stock"... ^^ yeay... :)

yeay i finally finished my first fashion inspiration video for men :) and i'm glad my guest jimmy liked my visit and the outcome of the video(s)... ^^

wow time goes by really fast... it's already the 22th! and i still have to make some sponsored videos! but luckily i already got idea's for those :) and it will be diys again! just because i love doing diys! ^^ i wanted to do one today, but i don't think i can make it... time wise... cause i have to get dressed for now, as i'm going to a movie tonight...

but this belongs to the list of the things i want to do this year... my room "renovation"... my best friend helped me with putting on the wallpaper... and we are finally done today! :p i'm so tired... though my best friend did most of the work! :x thankx dem!

i'm so happy that i finally got new wallpaper... looks neat and clean :) hopefully it will stay nice and relaxing after putting back all the furniture... :p



lol... we just had some fun on my wall with a pencil :p well apparently... i'm not 163cm like i thought i was... i'm 0,7cm smaller... haha

anyways... changing the wallpaper was the biggest part of my renovation plan... but i still got some other things to do...

besides the two walls in the pictures above, i also have a really ugly brickwall... my mom suggested to put wallpaper over that too... but it didn't work out so well... soo we took it off again... i still have to remove all the paper... and hopefully we'll paint that soon ^^



other than that, i have to put back all my furniture... and re organize my stuff :x that will be a lot of work :x cause i really have a lot of stuff...

anyways... i'm going to visit a friend tomorrow... well actually today, because it's 1:25am already... and i'm going to check out his wardrobe! yeay... a men's wardrobe vid (another 2010-to-do-thing) will be coming up soon... hope you guys and ladies will like it :)

like i said in my last post... i said i might grab some more things while my brother places his order... but he didn't want to order anything after all... but his girlfriend does... so we decided to place an order together :) and this order i paid with my own money ^^ (this is how much i like that store :P)

i finally placed a new order on yesstyle... ^^ and this time i wanted to try out some of there shoes... this is the first time i order their shoes, and i wonder how they fit :) and how they look like in real :) and i also ordered some vest and shirts ^^ just because they are cute and on sale :)



there is this sale going on till 25th januari 2010... ^^ just for your information... hehe ^^ my brother also wants to place an order, and i might order some with him too ^^ cause there are too many cute stuff on sale (too hard to resist) :p

hmmm... i wonder... would you people like it if i do a review of these shoes when i receive them and tried them out?

new year!

a new year again! i want to improve myself! i don't want to waste any time from now on... i want to be an even better person than i was before, 2010 will be a good year...

it made me think, since i've been asked...

1. get my personal life straight again :x (not going into the details, but all the problems in 2009 needs to be solved!)
2. i am going to improve my design skills (both media and fashion related)
3. get a job (if i can't find a fitting job, within this year, i'll just take a random job)
4. i am not going to waste anymore time... i will work more!
5. i am going to clean my room at my parents place, the messiness bothered me so much in these 2 weeks! i will paint the walls and throw away all the useless stuff!
6. hehe i am going to touch my wii more from now on... (got more games to play now...)
7. keep fit again... i have to loose all the chubbiness i've gained during my stay at my parents' place... my parents feed me to much, lol
8. i am going to save money! spend less money... (i have to save some money for something)
9. i want to make fashion vids for guys too (not sure if the idea i have now will work out ;p wish me luck guys ^^)

hmmm... i can't think of more things i want right now... let's hope i can make all these things work ;)

though my resolution was to save more money and spend LESS, i've shopped during my break... so a haul vid will be comming soon, also another yesstyle sponsored vid!

some new stuff

today i went shopping! :o... and i was so badly dressed today lol... (no "on-"ootd picture, lol) but i was wearing a black basic esprit top... and underneath a red sleeveless "wraptop"... and a pair of diy skinny jeans, which are too loose on me now... and my old... not-so-white-anymore boots :x lol... yes... that happens too :x when i'm not in the mood, and when it's really cold... i would just throw some random stuff on :x



but... well... my lovely not-so-white-anymore boots, isn't only not white anymore... but they also got holes in it :x it's so hard for me to find the perfect pair of flat boots... i went to every shoe store i could find, but i couldn't find any flat boots that i like :x i almost gave up... but thought i might check the store, where i got the white boots... it's not a shoe store... but they do sell shoes...

and i found these:



and i just bought them... they are real leather with suede straps... and i have to say... i'm not in love with them... but i think they are cute though... and it has the same shape as the white boots (what i like), probably because it's by the same brand (xx by mexx)... and plus... they were on sale... the original price was 129eur something and i got them for 49eur!

other than that... i also got these:



probably gonna make a diy out of this... but i have no idea how it will turn out... i just have the concept... :p never tried it out, so it will be like another experiment ^^... i really love the colors ^^ like a eggplant color and a really bright purple ^^

i really hope i can do it tomorrow... :x hope the lighting won't fail me :x since i won't be able to do it in the morning... :x hmmm or should i already try tonight?! :x

the rest of 2009...

i decided to stay in amsterdam for the rest of 2009 :p sounds long, but it's just less than 2 weeks... just because i planned something for tomorrow... and have something to do on thursday... and i will be spending the first x-mas day in amstelveen... and the second x-mas day in amsterdam again... and also spend the last day of the year in amsterdam too... so it's easier for me to just stay here, instead of traveling back and forth... it saves some money too :p

and all i took with me is 1 bag of clothing... and just two pair of shoes :s will that be enough to create nice outfits? i just randomly packed some clothing! and brought some jeans... because it's sooo cold outside :x



and i actually bought some stuff to do some diy, but my bag was so heavy today that i couldn't bring it with me... hopefully i can grab some stuff tomorrow while shopping, so i can still make at least 1 diy video before x-mas... :x and probably gonna make it a sponsored video, since i probably (?) won't have enough time to make more before it gets 2010! :p

other than that... a few days ago (thursday)... i was here in amsterdam, and had to go back to almere for a few days to pack some stuff... (to prepare my long stay in amsterdam)... i wasn't prepared for the cold weather yet... and it was so cold that week (and still is)... that i wore everything i could find in my room... i found black and white stripped tights (which i got from my mom a long time ago)! i never wore it before since i'm not a big fan of black and white stripes... but i decided to wear it under my leggings, since my leggings are so thin (and a bit sheer too)... i could see the stripes through my leggings... and somehow i'm liking it! i'm probably going to wear those tights more often under my leggings!



hmmm what else... i might be going to post some ootd here on my blog (the comming 2 weeks)... or just make short video's? :x i don't know yet... haha it depends on what outfits i can create with the clothing in my bag :p and it also depends on how long the battery will last of my digital camera, since i forgot to get the charger :x but luckily i brought my macbook with me the last time i was here... and left it here... ^^ so i can use it these two weeks! yeay!

my new haircut

if someone was wondering what i asked my hairdresser:
i asked to have it short in the back and gradually longer to the front... i told her not to go too short on me though, because i haven't had a short cut for about 10 years :x... like always she cut my upper layers short, so i can wear my haircut as messy or as neat as i want ^^ and she kept my bangs the way i always have it, she just trimmed it and thinned everything down, because she always tells me that i have a lot of hair :x

i've been thinking for a very long time now... about how i should cut my hair... my haircut have all grown out now, and is a total mess :x last time that i got a haircut was in hong kong... and i even didn't let it cut the way i wanted... i just asked for a shorter and lighter haircut, because of the hot weather... :x

and plus... i "have" this layered haircut for years now! :x

so, now... i'm starting to get tired of this haircut... :x i want something else... but what? (that's why i have been asking other people's opinion, but it seems like no one can help me :()
